Miranda's Scrapbook

Hi, my name is Miranda, why don't you visit a lot in my scrapbook.  Look around.  You'll see all sorts of stuff.  Send me emails, I love 'em.  You can look my website up and see new stuff.  When you email me, I will email you back.  Just give me your email address and you'll get some cool stuff and you can say whether I should put new stuff in or not.  Also, you should know, that the stuff on this website will also change.  But when you see the new stuff, tell me how much you like it.  My grandma, NanaTia, she puts it all together and I like that a lot, 'cause I have my own website and people can see all my stuff.  You can tell your friends.                                                         Miranda   Click here to send an email...

   Miranda lives in northern California with her Mom and Dad and sister.  I'm very glad that you're here visiting her special place.

   She is 9 years old and is enjoying the 3rd grade a lot.  She's a great student and likes just about everything about school.  She loves to read.  Lately, she's read Tink, North of Never Land.  Besides reading she likes to hang out with her sister, Alexis.

   Since her family is very curious about things, they explore a lot together.  They tried canoeing down the Russian River, but that turned out to be a very scary adventure, and she's not eager to do that again.  Each member of her family has their own bikes and they have been on some nice long (for a 9 year old) bike rides.  They've been on several adventurous bike trails in their area.

   One of Miranda's favorite "gadgets" is Gameboy.

   There is something about drawing and painting that Miranda really enjoys.  Those that have seen her paintings agree that she is very artistic and a talented painter.  We've all been happily surprised at how good her first paintings have been.  All her family and friends (and NanaTia, ME!) really think her art is FANTASTIC!  Go, Miranda!!

   Recently, the family flew to Boston, Massachusetts for a week.  They spent the day walking the Freedom Trail.  If you want to learn more you can click on this link: http://thefreedomtrail.org/ .  They had quite an adventure exploring the Boston area including Harvard Law School.  Whoa.... impressive!  They also, traveled by train to Connecticut to visit Miranda's Aunt Debra and Uncle Bruce.  They toured Aunt Debra's & Uncle Bruce's alma mater - Yale.  She really enjoyed her visit with her aunt and uncle and Phoebe, their dog.  Aunt Debra is teaching Miranda how to "knit".  Way kewl!
