My Interests
There are so many activities and things that interest
Alexis.
We hope that you have many interests, too. Maybe
some of the interests below will start you out on some new adventures of
learning! We hope so.

Music - Alexis plays the
piano and has a guitar just waiting to be used. She enjoys
listening to music on CD's too.

Travel - Alexis' family
has vacationed in Tahoe, Yosemite, Disneyland, and gone to Lego Land.
During the summer of 2005, Alexis' family spent the week at Stinson
Beach. They built sandcastles, collected shells and made sand
candles and went hiking in the nearby foothills. Do you like to travel?
Do you like to play at the beach and make sandcastles? I got to
spend a few days with her and the fam. We took a ferry over to
San Francisco and enjoyed walking around Pier 39. We missed
one ferry and had to take a bus and run several blocks to catch the
last ferry home. Huff-puff, huff-puff. Whew!

Science - Have you ever
tried kitchen science? It's a great way for grandparents
(like me) to enjoy their grandkids and learn, too!

Writing -
Can you write stories? Stories
about real people? Stories about pretend people? Writing
is a wonderful skill to have.

Photography -
This is a new adventure for Alexis.
Do you look at things as though you're looking through a camera lens? Maybe this link

Rock Collecting - If you
look really close, rocks are totally fascinating! Try it... you
might like it! We think you will.
